Beer Belly MiniBrew

There are different reasons some people may not want to drink a certain type of alcohol. Wine makes you sleepy, good whisky is expensive, tequila makes you go insane and beer makes you fat. But what causes this? And more importantly how do you get rid of it?

Genetics are a big factor

This is one of the most difficult things to digest for some people. Unfortunately, some people were predisposed to get a beer belly ever since they got conceived. While some people eat tons of junk food and never gain a kilo, others actually have to really compromise with themselves to stay fit. That is the sad reality.

Gender also makes a difference

Indeed, men are more prone to pick up some weight around their belly area when their counterparts are more prone to gain in the thighs and butt area. This is why generally guys are said to have beer bellies, and not the other gender.

Beer may not be the cause of beer belly.

Nope... What really makes you fat is sugar. Of course, beer does contain some sugar because without it, there would be no fermentation. However, if you stick to drinking moderately and eating only natural sugars AKA fruits, you should not have such a high sugar intake that you would get fatter from it. But of course, it isn't only dependent on that. If you are drinking heavily, this is another problem!

Age makes everything worse

Yep... Because your metabolism naturally slows down, you will be more prone to getting these love handles as you age. Sorry grandma!

How to get rid of your beer belly

There is this wonderous all natural pill which will melt your fat away in a week.... is probably what you want to hear. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Clean up your diet, that's the first step. You should aim for mostly plant-based foods, healthy fats, and complex carbs like whole grains.

Secondly, exercising is the second thing we should do. However, science and experience have taught us that muscle targetting does not work to lose weight only on one specific area of your body. The best is to do high-intensity interval training to lose weight all over, and a lot of patience, as the belly area is the last place which will lose body fat.

You can do it if you set your mind to it.

But the good news is, you don't have to give up on beer altogether to lose weight. Isn't that great? And even better, you can save up money by brewing it on the MiniBrew. Check out how in this article.

Good luck!
