June is here. It’s show time at MiniBrew HQ. We’re firing up the power to get your MiniBrew in your kitchen, office or even restaurant. We've finally gotten all the parts for the BETA machine and are putting them together as we speak. Our team is busy, very excited and we can’t wait to let you brew your own beer very soon. - This update, we’ll dive into - Update hardware status - Preview BETA interface test of the MiniBrew Discovery App - Production will start soon. First App discovery test
As with everything at MiniBrew, the hardware is only half you will get. Last month, we have organized together with our beta backers for the first usability test of the Discovery app. We've been thoroughly reviewing everything you guys have said and we are making changes for the production version. We've already added a layer, which will pop over the taste wheel, so you can see more results that match your preference.

Production will start soon
This week, our co-founders Olivier and Bart will be in China and Hongkong to visit every factory that will contribute to the product. And find the best factories that will match the high quality we are looking for. We’re selecting a few suppliers that will make the key-components and do the injection molding, metal pressing and anodizing of our kegs. As some parts come from China, we will stick to our Dutch heritage by doing partial assembling and quality control in the Netherlands. Here’s a map of their trip through South East China.

The MiniBrew team grows
Since our last update, we’ve brought on Steven as an advisor. He is our sourcing manager and helps us to select high quality components. And we brought on Stef. He is leading the mechanical engineering efforts on MiniBrew. It will really help increase our production and shorten the time it takes to get a MiniBrew to your home. The both of them have extensive knowledge about liquid beverage machines and build up experience with Philips and Bevy
